Sounds like probably the headlight switch. But if the parking lights go off when you unplug the switch, there is a good chance the headlight switch is the problem. Also sometimes it can be the truck being unlocked.

The middle of the 3 positions is for parking/tail lamps only, and is not allowed to turn off the parking lights. Parking lights will not turn off.

The parking lights staying on and the left turn signal not working may not be related, the turn signal is probably a burned out bulb, turn on the left signal and see if all the bulbs light up if not replace the burnt one, if they all light, the turn signal flasher may be at fault ( it can work with one side and not the other), as far as the parking lights staying on, check the door pin switch that controls the interior. Either should turn off everything.

But probably the real fix will be a new switch. It drained my battery and while recharging i heard a noise in the under hood fuse panel.
